Today marks one year at Stripe, and I can’t believe it. On one hand, I can’t believe an entire year has passed, but on the other hand, I can’t believe only a year has passed. Ask anyone at Stripe and they could relate—you accomplish so much in such a short period of time that one year feels like five (in a good way).
I also can’t believe that I found a full-time job where I feel fulfilled, instead of itching for 5 o'clock, so I could run home to my personal projects. I still find time for my personal projects, but I pinch myself thinking about the quality of projects I get to work on and the caliber of people I get to work with every day at Stripe. It doesn’t feel like work.
Looking ahead at this next year, I’m hoping to write a lot more about the work that I do at Stripe—especially considering my recently reinvigorated return to writing. I’m constantly blown away by how much my team is pushing the web, so I can’t wait to share what we’ve been up to.
