We'll focus on slide two of the Rainbow PowerPoint template. Here's what that slide looks like without edits:
1. How to Insert an Image
There are two separate methods that you can add an image to your rainbow PPT template.
- Using the picture placeholder. Click on the Insert Picture from File button in the middle of the picture placeholder. This brings up a file locator. Locate your image file and double-click on the image.
- Clicking on the Insert tab. In the toolbar, click on the Pictures button. A menu drops down. Select the right option for you depending on where your image file is located. Locate your image and double click. Readjust your image as needed.
2. How to Delete an Object
Sometimes object can look awkward, or maybe you just don’t like an object on your slide. You can get rid of any object that you want.
To get rid of an object, select it. Next, press Delete on your keyboard. Now the object is gone.
3. How to Change an Object’s Color
If you don’t like an objects color, you can change the color of it.
To begin, select the object that you want to change the color. Next, click on the Shape Format tab.
When you click on the Shape Format tab, a sidebar appears on the right side of your screen. In the sidebar, click on the Fill & Line tab. Next, click on the Fill Color button. When you click on this button, a color menu drops down. Select the color that you want from the drop-down menu.
4. How to Change the Slide Background Color
If you don’t like the background color of your slide, you can change it. First, click on the Design tab. Next, click on the Format Background button in the toolbar.
When you click on the Format Background button, a sidebar appears on the right side of your window. Next, click on the Fill Color button. When you click on this button, a color menu drops down. Choose the color that you want.
5. How to Change Text Color
To begin, highlight the text that you want to change the color of. Click on the Home tab. Next, click on the Font Color button. When you click on the Font Color button, a color menu drops down. Choose the color that you want to use.
