W3C welcomes the launch of the Open Web Docs (OWD) collective and, as a member of its Steering Committee, is committed to help the project fulfills its mission of supporting open web platform documentation (and MDN Web Docs in particular) as critical digital infrastructure.
We’re looking forward to working with current and future OWD stakeholders in ensuring Web developers and designers get consistent, up to date and complete information on the Web standards they rely on in their daily work.
Good documentation regularly tops the list of what developers need to adopt any technology – W3C DevRel’s commitment and contributions to OWD complement our continued participation in the MDN Product Advisory Board, and is part of our broader effort in making sure designers and developers are well-positioned to adopt W3C technologies.
