Something that is really important to us here at RenderATL, is humanizing tech and having real conversations. Which is why we decided to start the #RenderRoundtable: a series of informal conversations with a few dope techies where you can learn about what tech is really like, what it takes to succeed, and more importantly that there is a way to carve your own path and be your own person along the way.
This past Thursday, we had the pleasure of talking with the one and only Brianna McCullough, aka Bri Limitless--and limitless is right! Bri talked to us about her journey to Program Management at Google, and we dispelled some of the myths surrounding skills needed, what it means to be "successful," had an impromptu conversation about networking, and getting the job without seeming "thirsty."
This Thursday's #RenderRoundtable will feature Scott Hanselman-- a true jack of all trades. Scott is a programmer, teacher, speaker, technologist, podcaster, writer, inclusion advocate and more! This week's conversation will be one for the books, so be sure to follow our Director of Outreach and Engagement on Twitter, and give Scott a follow as well so you can catch us on Spaces this Thursday (and every Thursday!) at 7:00PM EST.
Until next time!
