Personally, I’m not (at least not fully). Whenever I start looking into a new subject there are always tutorials that explain the basics, and follow up guides on how to make an app or a website or something.
But to me at least it seems that there’s this whole missing gap that would help you go from intermediate-ish to advanced.
Luckily, i’ve already had to go through this process with frontend development and I picked up a few tricks along the way on how to learn advanced concepts and gain mastery (like reading source code, looking through github issues, and a lot of trial and error in my day job).
But even if I can use the previous experience and knowledge to guide me when learning something new, like game dev for example, it still feels like you have to hunt down great resources when you want to move up from beginner concepts.
What do you guys think, what has your experience been like?
