What would you do to your coworker if they left their computer unlocked and unattended?

I know what you are thinking: “We should probably lock their computer for them.”

But wouldn’t that be just like handing them a fish instead of teaching them how to fish?

Let’s start with some easy lessons and escalate it from there.

Full disclosure: I'm against trolling of any kind. Be advised that it is usually not fun to be on the receiving end. The idea behind this article is to raise security awareness.

That being said, let's go!

1) Some browser fun

The first thing we should do is install the "Ncage" chrome extension. This will turn every single image on every website into the one and only "Nicolas Cage."
Note that it is easy to remove, but it will definitely make an excellent first impression.

Always ask yourself, “What would Nicolas do?”

2) WhatsApp bombing

There has never been a better time to confess your true love to someone, or tell your family on your shared WhatsApp group that "you’re pregnant" and don’t want to talk about it.
To take it a step further, exit the group dramatically.

It can escalate quite rapidly, so proceed with caution.

3) Facebook bombing

Publish something like the following in every group your coworker is a member of:

“Fantastic apartment for sale!”

Make sure to add gorgeous pictures, a ridiculously low price, their phone number, and of course ask to only call at night.

For best results, turn off notifications for those posts...

4) Crazy Screenshot

Take a screenshot of their desktop, replace the background image with this screenshot, and then remove all the icons. The poor bastard won't know what hit them as they click away like crazy.

5) Blue screen of death

We will waste their time for a bit by going to one of the following links, depending on their OS.

Once the link opens in the browser, go full screen. Trust me, it will be delightful.

6) Give them the Desktop Goose

Install the Desktop Goose, an annoying goose that tries to steal your mouse moves around your windows while you try to work, and basically bothers you no matter what you do.

Just to see what's up:)

You can download it from here :)

7) Replace Keyboard Setup

While most of us blind-type, we can do so only thanks to muscle memory.
Well, let's spice it up and replace the keyboard setup with Dvorak. Nothing better than to see them typing and getting the wrong letters. ?

? BONUS

Well, this is the last one.
Do nothing. Instead, just stare at them meaningfully and ask if they’ve already figured out what you’ve done to their computer.

I'm dying to know what pranks did you do?
