The other day, I did a lightning talk about CSS art and accessibility at the Hamburg HTML meetup. Before the meeting, someone commented about drawing a Simpson character in CSS but using a single element... so I decided to give it a try, and here it is. A responsive drawing of Homer Simpson in CSS, using only one HTML element:
