1. How to Unlock the Background Layer in Photoshop

Step 1

To unlock the background layer in Photoshop, you need to open your image and then Left-Click on the Lock Icon background layer.

Step 2

You can also Double-Click on the background layer to Unlock and Rename it at the same time.

2. How to Use the Unlock Image Photoshop Shortcut

Let's say you have a Photoshop document with a locked layer. To unlock it, you can click on the Lock Icon in the Layers panel or press Control-/.

3. How to Lock a Layer in Photoshop

If you need to lock a single layer in Photoshop, you can do it the same way with the Control-/ keyboard shortcut or by using the Lock Icon.

4. How to use Multiple Lock Layer Photoshop Shortcut

If you need to lock/unlock multiple layers at once, you need to select the layers and then use the Shift-Control-/ shortcut. After that, select what you want to Lock/Unlock and press OK.
