Senior Accessibility Platform Consultant

The Platforms & Programs Practice provides proactive client care and support for our ARC Platform customers. The Accessibility Resource Center (ARC) is an enterprise-class SaaS accessibility platform, enabling organizations to go beyond reporting on defects to effectively manage and monitor an accessibility program. The portal supports all the tasks and resources needed, including automated testing, program oversight, training, and remediation knowledge.
Our Empowerment Programs deliver a highly prescribed project-oriented package covering all ARC native capabilities. This is accomplished via training, consulting, coaching, read outs of client analytics data, and customized final reports. Clients are left with a deep understanding of ARC along with the skills to independently implement and optimize all the basic and advanced ARC features and functions.
As a Senior Accessibility Platform Consultant, you are responsible for delivering Empowerment Programs to the TPGi client base in both cohort and private form. Cohort programs consist of a series of pre-scheduled standard webinars which are delivered over the course of 90-days and include participants from multiple accounts. Private programs consist of a series of pre-scheduled, customized webinars delivered over the course of 120-days for a specific client. The Senior Accessibility Platform Consultant will also have the responsibility conducting a weekly retrospective with the team to identify and recommend expansion and improvements to the webinar series content.
The successful candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and demonstrate the ability to prioritize and multi-task a variety of demanding assignments without a degradation of work quality.
About You

- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies

- Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills including the ability to convey complex, delicate, or detailed messaging in an accurate, brief, clear, and diplomatic way.
- Experience in managing and maturing an accessibility program
- Proven experience as a trainer, utilizing effective teaching methodologies and tools
Responsibilities
- Deliver and coordinate cohort and private training sessions, monitoring readouts, and program kick-offs
- Liaise with practice manager to determine training needs and schedule private training sessions
- Manage session registration and monitor session attendance and other records
- Maintain and enhance training sessions and workshop material to align with new platform features and capabilities
- Conduct evaluations of session material to identify areas of improvement
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Support and mentor new employees
- Advocate for customer as a trusted advisor and ensure customer experience expectations and goals, ensuring client can serve as a reference upon completing their engagement
- Ensure the client takes advantage of TPGi best practices, including Center of Excellence (KnowledgeBase)
- Identify opportunities to position other solution offerings
- Represent TPGi at industry Conferences to gain insights and drive thought leadership
- Ensure ARC Platform proficiency is maintained as solution expands and evolves
Basic Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Confident public speaking and communication skills, including presenting to global audiences and senior leaders
- Must be familiar with the issues of accessibility faced by people with disabilities and aging populations
- Must have in-depth knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1)
- Must have a strong grasp of accessibility techniques in web development applying HTML5, CSS, ARIA, and JavaScript
- Should have experience with assistive technologies across multiple platforms, including screen readers, magnification, and read-aloud tools
- Must have effective working experience with a variety of accessibility verification tools, assistive technologies, and accessibility standards
- Must be able to quickly adapt to new accessibility tools and the TPGi ARC Platform
- Must be US-based
Preferred Qualifications
- Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience working in the accessibility field
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree/relevant experience a plus
- Experience with the TPGi ARC Platform is a plus

The typical salary range for this position is USD $100,000 – $130,000 depending on experience, and can vary.
