In the hope of this helping someone. Our CI/CD environment suddenly started spitting out "No signing certificate "iOS Distribution" found when validating our xcarchive before distribution to AppStore.
I could not figure out why it was showing so after a wild goose chase I broke it down piece by piece. One step was running the build manually trough XCode. This is when I got the critical piece of information. There is a new PLA (Program License Agreement) on our Apple Developer account!
Logging into our development account as the owner and accepting the new PLA solved the problem.
Would have been great if the PLA error that caused the certificate error would have appeared first in the xcodebuild-log.
