With the latest 2024 Q3 release, Progress® empowers you to build stunning apps faster with ready-to-use Page Templates and Building Blocks that make your Telerik and Kendo UI development experience even better.
The Progress® Telerik® and Progress® Kendo UI® 2024 Q3 release puts the spotlight on the newly launched Page Templates and Building Blocks, each one preconfigured with Progress® Telerik® UI for Blazor, Progress® Kendo UI® for Angular and Progress® KendoReact™ components embedded. You just need to copy and paste—how cool is that?
The Page Templates and Building blocks are a continuation of our efforts to help teams build beautiful apps fast no matter if they have a dedicated designer or not. While these new tools will be of great help to developers working without designer support, they can also be easily integrated in your design system as ready-to-go reusable resources. With this release, we also announce a big change to our UI customization tooling. Progress® ThemeBuilder℠ can now be used to style any custom HTML, making it the one tool you can use to unify all styling and customization work for your project.
Adding predefined design patterns to your toolset is a game changer but, of course, we didn’t stop there. The 2024 Q3 release brings multiple other enhancements to our most popular components like the Grid and Rich Text Editor, as well as Kendo UI for Angular and KendoReact Data Grid-Chart integration with a new Chart Wizard component.

Telerik and Kendo UI Enterprise-Ready Components for the Latest Technologies
- New Chart Wizard component in Kendo UI: Create the chart you wish by using the Angular or React Data Grid. Integrating charts within the Grid provides a visual representation of the data, making trends, patterns and outliers clearer compared to raw table data.
- Multiple Grid enhancements across Telerik and Kendo UI: Improvements like multiple cell selection, sticky columns alongside column virtualization, built-in print option, toggle edit mode, remote validation and more provide developers like you with a high-performant, full-featured Grid to cover any data-heavy app requirement.
- Telerik UI for Blazor Rich Text Editor exposes ProseMirror: The Telerik UI for Blazor Rich Text Editor component has exposed ProseMirror library, significantly enhancing its text editing and customization capabilities.
- Multiple PivotGrid and PivtoGrid v2 improvements: Row and column virtualization for better performance when displaying large data sets, export to Excel and an option to display key performance indicator (KPI) measurements are added to the Kendo UI for Angular, Kendo UI for jQuery and Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core/MVC libraries.
- Support for .NET 9 Preview: Telerik UI for Blazor, Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core, Telerik UI for .NET MAUI, Telerik Reporting and Telerik JustMock are compatible with the latest Microsoft .NET 9 Preview.
More Robust Features and Enhancement Across Telerik and Kendo UI Product Lines
- Event handlers support in Telerik Reporting: Attaching compiled code event handlers is now supported in Telerik Reporting declarative reports. This enables the application of custom logic while the report is being generated.
- Declarative initialization in Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core: Multiple Telerik UI for ASP.NET Core components now support declarative initialization—a feature that serializes the component declaration as an MVVM declarative configuration instead of an inline initialization script.
- Multiple CollectionView enhancements in Telerik UI for .NET MAUI: Header and Footer templates, drag and drop, manual and automatic load on demand and item swipe functionalities are just some of the improvements in the recently released CollectionView control.
- New Pyramid Chart in Telerik UI for ASP.NET AJAX: This new chart type enables you to display data within a pyramidal structure.
- Document Processing Libraries (DPL) enhancements: Telerik Document Processing Libraries now support annotations of type StrikeOut, Stamp, Popup, Text and Highlight, along with support for SVG images.
- Telerik JustMock updates: Support for transparent integration with dotCover in installation free scenario on all supported platforms.
