liner notes:

  • Professional : Today felt like it didn't go by so quickly like the past couple of days. Had a couple of meetings with my team members. It was good to see everyone. I went through some more hackathon submissions. I did all the ones I was told to go through, but apparently another category had so much more entries, they split them up and gave them to others to look through. Made some more modifications to a server to add some functionalities. To make sure I don't do anything too out of the ordinary, I contacted someone that works on it also to talk about it. What I wanted to do was good to go. I'll be able to do a pull request with my changes tomorrow. I also responded to some community questions through the day.

  • Personal : Last night, I got all the parts working for the first proof of concept for this side project I want to get done before my next trip. Luckily it's using some Web Components I built and have examples that I can reference pretty quickly. Got them hooked up with credentials and all the parts work. I just need to place them in the layout that I want for this section of the application. I also planned the steps need to get a working minimum viable project done before my trip. There will be things that I'll add in the future. Went through some tracks for the radio show and looked through Bandcamp for the projects I'll pick up this week. Also handled some tasks for purchasing this property.

The sun shines through the branches of a tree, casting a bright light on the lush, green mountains below. The sky is a beautiful blue with wispy clouds. The location is Ella Rock, Sri Lanka.

During my lunch break, I was able to start putting together the social media posts for tomorrow about the projects I'm picking up on Bandcamp this week. All I have to do is just find the artists' social media accounts. Going to finish that up and buy the projects and maybe go through some tracks for the radio show and plan out the playlists. After that, I'm heading back into working on this project and cross off the stuff I have on the checklist. I also ordered some hardware that will hopefully make setting things up for the recordings of this side project a little faster. We'll see. It's raining so I probably won't reach my step goal. Going to eat dinner and get to work.

Have a great night!

peace piece
