✅ When you use Amazon CloudWatch for log management, it's essential to configure the log retention period according to your needs. By default, CloudWatch retains logs indefinitely if no retention period is specified, but you can adjust it manually.
✅ You can set retention periods ranging from 1 day to 10 years, giving you flexibility based on your use case. This allows you to optimize storage costs and ensure compliance with data retention policies.
✅ Here's how to set it:
1️⃣ Go to CloudWatch Console.
2️⃣ Select your Log Group.
3️⃣ Adjust the Retention Settings as needed.
❓ Have you configured your log retention settings yet?
