I’m starting a side project called Space Blasters Duel, a little two-player game where each player controls a spaceship and tries to outlast the other in a closed arena. The idea is to keep it fun and simple, using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Socket.IO for real-time action. I thought it’d be even more fun to build this with some teammates, so I’m inviting anyone interested in game dev to join in!
About the Game
Space Blasters Duel is a mini battle arena where two players can connect from separate PCs, dodge obstacles, and try to blast each other’s ship to win. Imagine a mini space duel where only one ship will come out on top!
How You Can Join In
If you’re into front-end, real-time web apps, or just game design, this could be a cool side project to work on! Specifically, I’m looking for folks who’d like to:
Help design a simple UI and fun spaceship controls
Work with real-time game logic using Socket.IO
Brainstorm creative ideas for power-ups and obstacles
