This is not a talk but an invitation to more discussion. There are so many options around.
First, you don't necessarily collect any extra data at all, except for the actual app data that is required for the app to be functioning.
Second, of course, you can just set up Mixpanel or Google Analytics—you name it.
And if you need some custom pipeline (which is always true but might not be crucial), then there are a lot of varieties.
What are your tools of choice? Right now I'm building some stuff for that.
