We are seeking a highly skilled Back-End Engineer with a strong foundation in system architecture, cybersecurity, and algorithm development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of back-end systems, blockchain technology, and social media platforms, along with expertise in the tools and processes that power dynamic, scalable, and secure digital ecosystems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-System Architecture: Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure back-end systems for blockchain and social media platforms.
-Cryptocurrency Integration: Develop and optimize systems for handling cryptocurrency transactions, wallets, and blockchain integrations.
-API Development: Build and maintain APIs to facilitate seamless interaction between front-end applications and back-end systems.
-Cybersecurity: Implement advanced security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent vulnerabilities in blockchain and social media systems.
-Algorithm Development: Create and optimize algorithms for data processing, content ranking, and user recommendations.
-Data Management: Design databases and manage large-scale data storage solutions.
-Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers to create seamless user experiences.
-Performance Optimation: Continuously monitor and improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
-Emerging Technologies: Stay updated on trends in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and social media to innovate and enhance our systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science. Engineering, or related field.
-Proven experience with back-end development, preferably in social media or blockchain-related projects.
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:
-Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, Go, or Rust.
-Experience with blockchain technologies (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, or Polygon) and cryptocurrency protocols.
-Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
-Database design and management experience with both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) systems.
-Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and tools for system hardening.
-Expertise in API design (REST, GraphQL) and microservices architecture.
*Familiarity with tools and concepts used by Instagram engineers, such as:
-Scalable distributed systems.
-Graph databases and large-scale data processing.
-Advanced content delivery and caching techniques.
-Machine learning for content recommendations.
*Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment.
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
-Experience with decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contract development (e.g., Solidity).
-Knowledge of Web3 technologies and protocols.
-Understanding of social media algorithms, user engagement metrics, and digital advertising platforms.
-Previous experience at a leading social media or blockchain company.
