What I Built
I built a tool called SponsorShield, an AI-powered solution that helps you skip sponsorships in YouTube videos with ease. By simply entering the YouTube video ID, SponsorShield analyzes the video and tells you exactly where to skip to avoid sponsorship segments. This tool provides an uninterrupted and smoother viewing experience, making it perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy YouTube videos without sitting through ads or sponsored content.

- Enter a YouTube video ID to detect sponsorship segments.
- AI-powered analysis that identifies where to skip in the video, and tell you more about the sponsor in an advanced way.
- Simple and easy-to-use.

AI identifies the sponsorship section in the video and provides a suggested (but very accurate) skip time.
Agent.ai Experience
Building SponsorShield using Agent.ai was a rewarding experience. The platform’s AI & advanced features were really usefull and simple to use. Honestly, Agent.ai is on track to become the next big AI app.
Overall, Agent.ai made it easy to integrate the AI functionality, and I’m excited to continue improving SponsorShield and exploring new ways to make YouTube viewing even better.
How does it works
Several agents collaborate on this project:
- One is the main one, the one that makes everything work
- Another one allows you to search for information precisely via Google & AI
- Another one formats everything so that it is beautiful and easy to read
- The last one finds precisely when the sponsors appear.
I must specify that, to have the transcript of the videos with the timeline, I had to use an external rapidapi api which is the following: https://rapidapi.com/poix-poix-default/api/youtube-data16/playground/apiendpoint_39a3036d-1f9b-4aac-a69a-a13c7f3d16d1
I hope this respects the rules, but I couldn't have done otherwise. In any case, I am happy to have participated and to have been able to discover agent.ai.

Now, is it really useful? Not really.
But does it have the potential to become so? Totally! With a little more time, it could have become even more optimized and efficient.
I am proud of myself, not for having made SponsoSHield per se, but for having innovated in a way in a concept, for the moment little exploited.
