- Saturday : Felt like I was trying to catch-up all weekend. haha It all started Friday night when I spent more time looking into a 3D printer than preparing for the radio show. Needless to say, I left for the station later than normal. Still made it with plenty of time to setup and do the show. Had a really good time as usual. Sunday : Finished putting together the radio show later than normal, again, because I got caught up watching reviews for a 3D printer. haha So I woke up later, but still made it in time to do my study sessions. Got quite a bit done considering everything being pushed back. You can check out the study sessions at https://untilit.works
Professional : Basically spent most of the day in meetings. This week will be filled with meetings as we plan our goal for the year. My goal is between meetings is to clean up the application I demoed last week, create some slides for a presentation coming up next month, and update some blog posts. Not sure how much coding I'll actually get done this week at work. It's Okay. I'll get plenty of opportunity next week and after work.
Personal : So, like I said, I've been researching a 3D printer. The reason is because I think it could do the same thing combined that 2 other printers I was looking to buy to do separately and had even more functionality. I wanted wanted to make sure by reading up some documentation and watching review videos of people actually using it. I watched videos that were in Spanish, German and French. haha. Thank goodness for translated captions. Everyone seemed to like the printer and it's larger than my other ones and I'll definitely have need to print larger objects.
Not sure if I mentioned it before, but I'll be helping an artist release a 12" vinyl record. I've known them for a while and played them on the radio show a lot. They have a new album coming out and since I've started my new business, I thought it could be a cool collaboration. I've thought of a bunch of ideas of things I could print based on the album. Some of those things will require a larger printer, so I ordered the one I was researching today. I think it should be here in a couple of weeks hopefully. I'm going to be working on creating prototypes of the items. With that, I need to finalize a couple of logos and get that sent to be included in the artwork. Looking to also go through some tracks for the radio show. Going to be a busy and hopefully week. Time to get started.
