Some reasons for "loving" Xcode ❤️
1. Free heating
Yup, you heard it right. If you compile once a day, your mac will instantaneously turn into a kugelblitz.
I've never been cold since developing for iOS.
2. Free holidays
Each time there is an update or Xcode is indexing you've got around 1.5 months of free time to go on holiday. I call them Xcode update holidays.
3. You just now what to do
If you've never used Xcode, don't worry. It's one of the simplest, most straight forwards piece of software out there. You will just know what to do.
4. Prevents you from installing useless apps
After using xcode for a couple weeks, you can start to understand the limits of your storage. I really like this, as it forces you to not install useless apps that often. It also makes you look into all the files, caches, etc... that Xcode uses.
They do this so you get a better understanding on how this piece of shi... (cough)... software works internally. I really value the thought they've put into this.

5. It improves your patience and problem solving skills x10
It does this by making errors and warnings as cryptic and useless as possible. You will also need to search all of google to find any solutions, if they work of course.
Once you fix the errors it's not over yet, you might need to do this around 500 times and most likely end up at the same spot. I have the patience of 30 school teachers now. It's incredible.
Now, what do YOU love about Xcode?
Note this is intended as a joke, and I don't want to discredit the job, nor offend the people behind Xcode. I'm sure they have done the best they've been able to do.
