Women in tech often feel afraid to ask for what they truly want. Salary negotiations can feel daunting.
I will share some examples of what I’ve done, and hopefully some find this useful.

Big Tech battles over ICE contracts
Per usual, all the Big Tech companies are kissing up to ICE, in search of yet another government contract.
Google, Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, etc are clamoring to get a massive $300m contract to help ICE deport immigrants. If you work at any of these corporations, it would be pretty badass if you took a stand and demanded your employer not apply for this contract. Talk to your teammates and lateral teams; find out how you can start an internal group or email list for discussing how to take action internally for these issues.
