Once you’ve decided on what template you want to use, you’ll want to customize the template. So, I’ll show you how. In this tutorial, we’ll be using the premium Purple Presentation Template.
In this tutorial, I’ll customize slide 11 of the Purple Presentation Template. Here's what slide 11 looks like with no edits made:
1. Add an Image
There are two ways you can add an image to your purple PowerPoint template:
Method 1: Use an Image Placeholder
The first way to add an image is by using the image placeholder. You’ll see the Insert Picture from File button in the middle of the placeholder. Click on the Insert Picture from File button. Your file locations pop up. Choose the file where the image is located.
Method 2: Add an Image Manually
The second way to add an image to your Purple PowerPoint is to add your image manually. Start by clicking on the Insert tab above the toolbar. Next, click on the Pictures button in the toolbar.
When you click on the Pictures button, a menu drops down. Choose the right option for you depending on your image file. Next, locate your file and double-click on it.
Your image appears on your slide. You may need to adjust the image.
2. Change the Color of an Object
Changing the color of an object in your Purple PowerPoint Template is easy. Begin by selecting the object that you want to change the color of.
Next, click on the Shape Format tab above the toolbar. Next, click on the Shape Fill button in the toolbar. A color menu drops down. Select the color that you want.
3. Change the Slide Background Color
