My GitHub graph shows that starting early last year I began using GitHub regularly, as I wanted to become a developer and I knew git was an important skill. However, while my GitHub repos reflected my organized nature, they were designed with utility in mind. Today I revised my GitHub repos to better showcase my skills. I archived 2 inactive repos, and on my Codecademy repo created a space dedicated to showcasing my projects to prospective employers. This idea came from thinking through how my projects could be viewed with a host earlier this week, and another conversation with my mentor. This is a much cleaner look.
I also took some time to review some amazing dev insights that were revealed during one of my AI coding conversations, which like many started with a bing search, and most often follow either stackoverflow or Mozilla Developer Network search result links, or start a conversation with my AI pair programmer, Copilot. This time I followed an article with a dev career hook. While not strictly skill-additive, dev insights inspire me, and it's important for me to keep a 30,000' view of my pursuit, This blogger Vadim Kravcenko is a very next-level, and shares amazing dev career insights that speak to me--he also runs a business, so you may see adverts for his wares.
