Associate ARC Product Owner
Full-Time // Remote
As an Associate Product Owner for the ARC Platform, you will help guide and shape tools used by accessibility professionals around the world to improve the accessibility of their own sites and applications. In addition, you’ll work with TPGi’s own accessibility professionals to improve the methods and tooling they use to record and track the results of our own client engagements.
The ideal candidate will have a background in or around Software as a Service (SaaS), ideally with knowledge of digital accessibility, as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in an agile team setting. You can take complex topics, simplify them, and explain them to stakeholders and other interested parties in a way that allows you to gather feedback and approval so that our development teams build the right thing, the first time.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the product roadmap and facilitate the execution of the roadmap to deliver high impact features to market
- Gather business requirements to inform the creation of marketplaces to help businesses find new products and suppliers, and help suppliers market their value proposition and offerings to their target customer personas
- Listen to customers, both internal and external, in as many ways as possible, as frequently as possible, from one-on-one interviews to surveys to prototype testing
- Synthesize user insights to understand their wants and needs clearly and deeply. Use that understanding to contribute to product strategy and decisions
- Research industry, customer, and competitor trends to inform future development in alignment with company goals
- In collaboration with Product Director and internal stakeholders, help set clear goals and ensure that what gets built and rolled out is both valuable and viable
- Focus on experimentation and use performance metrics and user feedback to guide continuous improvement for digital products and services in alignment with business goals

- Partner cross-functionally with engineering teams, marketing, sales, and customer success on dependencies that impact product features
- In partnership with Product Director, clearly articulate tradeoffs and get buy-in from cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Proactively build relationships with those outside of your immediate team resulting in horizontal influence
- In collaboration with Product Director and Product Marketing, create documents, training presentations and other critical go-to-market items for internal teams to ensure successful rollout and adoption of new products and enhancements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- 2+ years’ experience in Product Management or in a hands-on operational role working with technology (Project Management, Program Management, Business Analysis, Customer Success/Support, Quality Assurance, etc.) and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience with accessibility is a plus, but not required.
- Experience in iterative, agile and/or scrum development.
- Ability to tie together solutions across multiple systems.
- Ability to influence and work with others to establish a clear vision for the product
- Ability to prioritize and make trade-off decisions.
- Adaptability and/or ability to manage change.
- Ability to think both strategically, tactically, and express it to the team.
- Strong “figure it out” mentality, creative-thinking, interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and works with limited direction.
- Organized with ability to follow-up on and manage details.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent industry experience.

The typical salary range for this position is USD $50,000 – $65,000 depending on experience, and can vary.
