honestly, as of past week I have been writing tasks and subtasks of tasks in a seperate file called #project-in-progress. And I have written steps which I took, than marked it as done. I also wrote pointers to things I needed to learn(since I was using chatGPT u know how that goes). So I recommend keeping a #project-name-in-progress txt file and writing all the things you do there. I do not know why no-one has recommended this before.
